Unfortunately, I don't see our government or the major automobile manufactures
embracing viable alternatives such as electric vehicles for short trips or serious
promotion of conservation efforts. It seems then, that the impetus must originate
from the grassroots level. Electric vehicles such as the Xebra and the Sparrow/NMG
are realistic options using available technology and materials. I hope that more people
will take an interest and a few will start to take action so we don't pass this problem
on to our kids & grandkids.
